Default Japanese researchers develop see-through goldfish

TOKYO (AFP) – First came see-through frogs. Now Japanese researchers have succeeded in producing goldfish whose beating hearts can be seen through translucent scales and skin. The transparent creatures are part of efforts to reduce the need for dissections, which have become increasingly controversial, particularly in schools.

Hello Mark,
I don't know what to say about the article. The ability of men's minds for whatever reason seems limitless. Shame we don't put such remarkable powers to other issues. It is amazing, most certainly. Can't wait for a see through Elephant.

That's amazing they are able to do that. I have a bit of a weak stomach so not sure I really want to go to a pet store and actually see one. I think it's great for what they were created for though.

That is truly amazing. I see the proposed use for lack of color and pigment. I'm with Lissi though, it's a little yucky. Imagine if they try that with people? All those organs and vessels pumping and beating.....it's a little gross. Oh well, science marches on!

See through Goldfish!

Wait I don't know if thats cool or disgusting. Kinda like a train wreck though in that I wouldn't be able to look away. I wonder if they will be available to the public.
