Hello Rhonda,
You'll have to wait for the experts for a definitive answer, but I'll try in the interim. In the Western style you wear a certain type of hat, and yell things like yee-ha and git-along little doggie, which incidentally led to the development of the Dachshund. Hey Rhonda,, thats a great question and should be addressed,,,, the tack and the riders outfit is the only difference. Its a big misconception that the horse is handled or rode differently, but the way I see it,, "proper" Natural Horsemanship is universal to all disciplines and breeds..
