Default Introducing Dash

This is Dash, he'll be 4, jan. 7th. I'm gonna train him to compete in mounted shooting. He's one of the fastest movers I've handled...

Beautiful Horse! Mounted Shooting must be a real blast, in more ways then one. It's something I always wanted to do. But, the Stables around here frown upon it!

Fine animal...but I'm curious as how a horse is trained to not flinch when shooting.

Never see 'em react in the old time cowboy movies....

Iron that is a fine looking horse..... would love to have the ability to ride and shoot... sounds like it would be a great time. I have to ask..... are you just kidding about the ear plugs? I have a sporting dog and have never "heard" (no pun intended) of such a thing.

Best of Luck!

No joke about the earplugs for the horses- think of a carrot-shaped piece of foam that fits in the critter's ear, and you'll have the picture. Some horses have more trouble getting used to the plugs than they do the report from the revolvers.
