Default The new family member

Here is our new family member.

Her name (after a lot of negotiations with the more senior members of this family (Lena, Jim and Alex)) is Eva.

The cats are afraid of her, which you can say is normal. The strange thing is that even Wolf is kind of afraid of her too, LoRL.

I must be a masochist!!

Congratulations John!!

I am happy that the other parties involved did not take her and you were able to bring her into your home.

Best of luck and keep us posted!

The ... other parties never planned to take her (or her sister) home. They feed them and their mother well, on a daily basis, but that was it. I think this little beauty deserved a home, so she is with us now.

The thing is that so far, she is not a big eater. Maybe I'll have to take her to her mother to eat some of her milk once a day. Or as the kids said, we can take the mother here too. Unfortunately, the great-power of the household threatened me with a divorce if I even dared to think about it. Not that I did, but you know, women have their own methods of being ... persuasive.

Tomorrow, I'll take some better pictures of Eva. She is so funny with those two black eyes. The rest of her body is totally white (especially now, after soapy, warm bath). If her nose gets black too when she will grow up, which I think it will, she must be a heck of a girl for our Wolf!!

TU: Great News!

John, I am happy to see that you and your's took the little puppy in as a family member. The boys must be jumping with joy! You should consider taking a few photo's of Eva's mom for historical purposes. Looking forward to photo updates as Eva progresses into a full grown lady!

Best of Luck!
Rich

Thanks for the kind words Rich. Indeed the kids are thrilled, I am not so sure how thrilled the puppy is with them though. You know, they see her as a new toy. They aren't rough with her, but a bit wilder than the little girl likes.

Good idea of getting pictures of the mom, I'll do it tomorrow, weather permitting. No matter what most people think about Greece, it does rain some times and we had a 3-4 days wet period lately.

John,
That is arguably the cutest dog I think I have ever seen.
The markings - if someone were to tell me about seeing a dog like that - I simply would not believe it. They even appear to be symmetrical.
It is very kind of you guys to give that little gal a proper home.

Eva is certainly a major contender for the first issue of our new front page!

Wait for the next pictures Rich.

DD, thanks for the kind words. You know, when I first saw that puppy, I thought "How many times has nature to try, to come up with such a symmetry in a mixed-breed doggie?!?!?"

I am also fascinated with those eyes.
