Best wishes!

One of the strange animal traits, that they try not to show pain. Best wishes, the antibiotics should help. Let us know how your dog is doing, please.

I thank you all for your support, Bonita has taken a turn for the worse and I expect the end is near, we're taking things hour by hour and minute by minute.

Very sorry to hear of the current conditions. One reason I think dogs and pets were put on Earth was to show us the loss of a dear companion, and to know that it is not the end. No telling, but I am wishing for a turn for the better.

Apologize for the delay, Bonita is on the mend, I needed to be sure so there wouldn't be any false hopes.

Even after noticably losing a lot of weight, she tipped the vet scales at 97.4lbs, nice looking gal.

Her white cell blood count was 50,000 and she was put on some potent meds. After a couple of weeks her white blood cell count was down to 7,000, diagnosis is tick fever. She's also anemic and enjoys the fact that liver has been introduced into her diet.

There was one night when neither Kay nor miyself she would make it til morning, but she did. While not totally up to speed, she's back to being matriarch to about 25 rescued dogs.

Thank you all for your support,

Bob
