While sitting with Holly in the enclosed sun room that is her official "space" until we get the house training issues settled, I kicked off my old Bass loafers. Returning to the room after a few minutes in another part of the house I saw this scene:



As it turns out, she only attempts to chew them while they are on my feet!

Mark - as I'm sure your are familiar with puppy teeth, she doesn't need too much pressure to cause a bit of "discomfort."

Does anyone make kevlar socks?

That is one sweet puppy face Gator. As for your shoes, well, every one of our dogs when puppies "adopted" something of their owners. You might just have to bite the bullet!! Ours as it turns out, never bothered anything else too much after they were allowed to have that one thing. Good luck though she's beautiful.
