Twist,
Yes, the black and white first one is very busy at first glance, but draws the eye. The dragonfly is great, and the way the focus goes out in the foreground and far background is neat. Can't figure out what place / background it is, so it is intriguing. The second is interesting, and your focus on the foreground brings out the texture of the "stuff" (fur?) on the fronds (if that's what they're called). The texture in the flowers, third picture, is really nice - and I like the light distribution on the center, where the blooms come out. Are these digital or film? Regards, Andrew

Hello Andrew,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'm glad you put your perspective and viewpoint in the answers. It really helps, recognizing different opinions. The are all digital on a Canon SD730 IS Point and shoot digital. Had it months before I realized there was a manual mode, you know just doing family and scenery in automatic. I hate to be a pest BUT there are several other posts requesting opinions in the Photography Section. If you have the time or inkling, would appreciate you own special views. Thank you again. Twist |

I agree with Bobcat's take on the photos.... They all have interesting features that he has accurately described. My only suggestion may be for a little sharper focus in the third picture.
Good work Twist

As usual Twist I like them all. The B & W is busy but the dragonfly draws your attention. The second one is my favorite I think. Is that sand on the leaves? Or just the composition of the plant. I have seen them with that spotty look to them. I love the grainy look of it. The third one has an almost romantic look with the light shining on the pedals. Good work.

Thanks EC,
For your participation. That fuzz is growing on/from the airplant itself. Twist |

That's what I thought but wasn't sure. Keep on sending them. Photographs always bring a smile to my face and yours are very interesting.
